Continual education and trainings are core to the vehicle & service industry… and so they are also core to the service we offer here at Tom’s Automotive.
It’s definitely a wild ride to continue to service cars, trucks, SUVs, and hybrids during this period in time.
It’s changing really really fast. Plus, each manufacturer, make, and model of new vehicles are including more and more technology. New and changing technology.
Which requires more education and training for each and every technician and customer service support provider. More than ever before.
Did you know that monthly and quarterly education and training was already happening at Tom’s Automotive?
For years now, this has been going on. It’s only speeding up and increasing in frequency in order to stay current, professional, and to offer the best service possible… the first time.
Industry participation here at Tom’s is also part of our day-to-day work.
Owner Kandie Jennings-Molloy is an active part of South Seattle College’s Automotive Technology Program, Shoreline College Automotive Technology Program, Puget Sound Skill Center Automotive Technology Program and Sno-Isle Automotive Technology Programs pathways… and has been for years.
She frequently interviews, teaches, and advises students considering a career in Automotive Technology. This way she also has a hand in seeing who and how many people are up and coming into a busy and growing workforce.
Kandie also participates as a member, and occasional leader, of the Northwest Automotive Care Alliance (NWACA) Community. Tom’s Automotive Service has been participating as fully as we can in order to stay current, involved, and in community.
It’s part of how we do our regular business.
We love serving our neighbors by servicing vehicles thoroughly and well the first time. You’re busy and need reliable and safe vehicles in order to do all the things you need to do.
We maintain and repair with care.
