More technology and technical parts are going into cars, trucks, SUVs, and hybrids… less mechanical.

A steady diet of training is necessary

Last week, on March 22nd, the entire Tom’s Automotive team played hooky from the shop and headed out to improve upon our skills. Our whole team attended ATE, the Automotive Training Expo in Seattle, it’s the biggest training expo on the West coast.

This expo provides training programs for technical areas in the automotive arena by expert trainers from all over the United States and Canada.

And what does this mean for you?

It means we can continue to ensure we are bringing you superior service, and even new services for your vehicle, your family’s and loved one’s carriers.

Transportation continues to develop with more and more technology, rather than mechanical elements, at an astonishing pace. More on this, and why constant training and updating is critical for the care of your cars, is here.

Look who’s here!

We were also lucky enough to have a sweet pup named Mila to come in and visit us! Mila’s mom adopted her recently and brought her in to meet the whole Tom’s Automotive team. She definitely got some major loves and snuggles while she visited!

What else?

A surprise breakfast for the team! Pancakes for everyone! The most important meal of the day, right? It’s always better when it’s a surprise and some acknowledgment for jobs well done, day in and day out. Thanks, Kandie!

All in all, we’d call the week a total success!

Stop by the shop to say hello, we’d love to see your face… and don’t forget, you can bring your favorite pup along too for a treat and snuggles! We’d love to welcome you and them to our family here at Tom’s Automotive Service.
