Maintenance

Your vehicle’s maintenance can be as simple and straightforward as an oil service at your 3,000 mile mark, or it can include a larger service at milestones of 30k, 60k, 90k or 120k miles.

It’s understandable that maintenance and repairs on your car, truck, SUV or hybrid may be inconvenient, and yes, even spendy, but your vehicle is a means of getting you places. You rely heavily upon it…and may use it heavily.

Perhaps daily?
A few times daily?

It’s not always easy to remember that “use” creates “wear” on & in a vehicle’s systems.

These are a few of the services and parts involved in the wide world of maintenance:

30, 60, 90, 120,000 mile services

Air filters

Belts

Brake flushes

Cabin filter

Carbon cleaning

Cooling system flushes

Differential services

Engine tune ups

Exhaust system replacement/repair

Fuel filters

Fuel injection services

Hoses

Lubricate suspensions as needed

Oil services

Pcv valves

Power steering flush

Pre purchase inspections

Shocks and struts

Spark plugs

Timing belts

Tire rotation

Transfer case services

Transmission filters

Transmission Services

Valve adjustments

Vehicle inspections

Wiper blades

Wheel balance

Maintenance is always going to be less expensive than replacement or repairs in the long run.

Took in my Mazda for a 20k mile tune-up and had the most transparent experience with a mechanic I've ever had. Easy to work with, friendly staff, all that good stuff. I have a car that has relatively uncommon oil (0W-20) and within an hour of me dropping it off for service they called me up and told me they'd have to go and get some and how it would affect the cost of repair. This wasn't a surprise to me, but they're the first place that's actually given me a heads up. In any case, good and timely service at a reasonable cost. Definitely give them a try if you need service in West Seattle.

Everyone at Tom's is a pleasure to work with: they're good listeners and generous problem solvers. They're clear about the repair work they suggest, they offer a range of options when that's appropriate, and their prices are fair. They also try to get you in as quickly as possible, sometimes immediately. I remain a grateful customer after 30 years!

This business has us as a customer for life! We brought in our car after the "Check Engine" light came on. The techs determined we need a new water pump, an estimated $1,100 job. But they went one big step further! They discovered the manufacturer is offering a FREE repair of the job under a special coverage warranty. How many businesses would genuinely pass on a job like this, more concerned with saving a customer money. I have heard great things about Tom's Automotive. I am pleased to add my story to the positive reviews! Thanks all!
